Introduction
Razer has been long known for their unique looking and top performing Gaming Mice. Today 3DXtreme is taking a look at the Razer Lachesis. Undeniably the reviews of the Lachesis have been met with mixed results, so I was curious just how I would feel about this new product from our friends at Razer. The Razer Lachesis (Lachesis being Latin for bringer of silent death) features a 3G 4000DPI laser, on the fly sensitivity adjustment and 1000Hz Ultrapolling the Lachesis was designed to deliver the beat down on the other gaming mice on the market.
When mine arrived it was just days after I had purchased a new Razer Copperhead. I was having some comfort issues with the Copperhead so it was quite interesting that many websites noted the shape of the Lachesis and comfort being an issue.
The retail packaging was as teasing as the Razer Copperhead’s. I love the new packaging for the mice, the smaller boxes with the flip open tops. If I was shopping at a retail store and came across one of these hidden behind the flap mice, I’d have a hard time not buying it.
