![]() Aerocool I-Curve+ Case Review Author: Dean Nottis Date: January 9, 2008 Supplied By: Aerocool Price: $109 USD
A Closer Look
Here is a look at the back of the I-Curve+ Case. A 120mm fan at the rear exhausts hot air out. The side panel can hold two more 120mm Case fans.
Aerocool included some big thumbscrews that hold the side panels on.
This is pretty much the standard mid-tower chassis we’ve seen many times before.
For the most part the Aerocool I-Curve+ is tool-less. Except for mounting the motherboard and the PCI slot covers, Aerocool included plastic snap locks for the 3.5” and 5.25” drives.
Here is the rear of the I-Curve+ Case. We favor the replaceable PCI slot covers. The 120mm fan that comes with the Case is rated for 62CFM @ 25dba.
The 3.5” drive bays are rotated 90 degrees and can hold five internal 3.5” drives.
There is one 3.5” floppy bay and four 5.25” drive bays on the Aerocool I-Curve+.
On the front of the I-Curve+ Case is the color LCD that displays three temperatures and fan speeds. The fan speeds are automatically and thermally controlled. Below the LCD are the touch buttons for power, reset, lock and HDD LED.
Once the Case is powered up here is what the LCD looks like.
Once locked the other touch button controls are disabled.
Temperatures and RPMs are reported on the color LCD.
