Aerocool Touch-2000 Review
Author: Dean Nottis
Date: July 17, 2009
Supplied By: Aerocool
Price: $60 USD

A Closer Look
Removing the Aerocool Touch-2000 from the package, we can see that Aerocool has provided everything needed for a fast and smooth installation. A printed paper manual; cables and screws round out the additional accessories that are included in the box.

Powering up the Touch-2000 without any fans connected we are just able to see the temperature sensor read outs of the 4 temperature sensors. There is a “Temp Now” feature and “Alarm Temp” that can be set to alert the user if temperatures are reaching a preset alert.

Once I connected a few fans to the Aerocool Touch-2000 the Fan readouts were populated with fan RPM information. Touching the Fan readout will activate that particular Fan to allow changing the RPM its currently running at. Pressing on the + or – buttons will adjust the RPM of the fan.

Pressing the C/F button toggles the temperature display between Celsius and Fahrenheit.

Here is a look at the e-SATA, 2 x USB and headphone / microphone jacks.

Here is a look at the backside of the Aerocool Touch-2000. The unit is well built and even has a lock button to keep guests from changing the settings or when accidentally hit.

Here are a few more pictures of the Aerocool Touch-2000 in action.
